Charcuterie Boards & Cutting Boards
Charcuterie: Literally, "charcuterie" translates from French to "cooked meat" or "pork-butcher's shop". In French, it's derived from "chair cuite," meaning "cooked flesh". Originally, charcuterie referred to the practice of preparing and preserving meats, especially pork, for consumption. Today, it often refers to a spread of cured meats, cheeses, and other accompaniments.
Whatever the translation, a hardwood charcuterie board makes a beautiful presentation piece for snacks, meats, cheeses, crackers and breads. Whether they are used as a serving board, a decorative piece of wall art, or a stunning gift, our handmade custom charcuterie boards and hardwood edge grain cutting boards will stand the test of time, and remain a beautiful addition to any home decor.
All of our charcuterie and cutting boards are made from locally sourced Adirondack hardwood trees. We utilize a variety of woods including: maple, red oak, cedar, birch and cherry to name a few. All are handcrafted, and soaked in 100% pure all natural mineral oil, and sealed with pure bees wax. A use and care sheet is provided to help you maintain your boards so that you can continue to enjoy them for years to come.
